Its innovative dual-curing system — hot air followed by UV curing — creates a distinctive soft-touch surface. UV curing increases the coating’s resistance to rubbing and abrasion while also improving its water resistance. This makes LABITEX WB UV 1597 SOFT TOUCH an excellent solution for high-quality printed products where both visual appeal and tactile performance matter.

To achieve a pronounced tactile effect on high-quality virgin-fibre paperboard, a wet coating weight of approximately 4–8 g/m² is recommended, depending on the absorbency of the substrate. If required, the coating can also be applied in two passes.
