INTRODUCING LABITEX UV 738 BF GIO L1.
BALTINK is pleased to present LABITEX UV 738 BF GIO L1 — an innovative transparent UV-curable varnish developed for the finishing of food, pharmaceutical and cosmetic packaging made from cardboard and polymer films.
The new varnish combines excellent visual performance with reliable protection and efficient production:

- High rub resistance
- High slip performance
- Increased reactivity and fast curing
- Ultra-low migration potential
- Virtually no residual odour
LABITEX UV 738 BF GIO L1 is suitable for application using offset press coating units and flexographic printing machines. Under BALTINK laboratory conditions, the varnish demonstrated a curing speed of up to 80 m/min.
The recommended coating weight is 2–4 g/m², depending on the absorbency and characteristics of the substrate.
This product has been developed for packaging manufacturers seeking an effective combination of high-quality finishing, strong surface performance and modern low-migration technology.
